Jan. 25, 2012 - Three eastern New Orleans teen-age males went on a spree of some 20 vehicle burglaries in St. Bernard Parish early Wednesday morning but were caught by deputies near a school, recovering a stash of stolen property including two rifles and scopes, a cross bow, $430 cash, jewelry and other items, Sheriff-elect James Pohlmann said.
Calls to the Sheriff’s Office about burglaries involving three young men began coming in about 3 a.m. from the Meraux area, Pohlmann said.
